Stratified Nib Holder with Dark Green Opal Finial: B9

This listing is for one handmade Stratified Nib Holder with a Dark Green Opal Finial.

These are thicker grip than more typical nib holders, with a pinch of approximately 15 mm.

Each Stratified block takes over month to make and you can’t even really appreciate all of the intricacies of the layers until you hold the finished pen in your hands. Each of these comes with a custom Stratified pen sleeve from Rickshaw Bags.

It was created from our custom in house Alumilite resin blanks and turned on my lathe.

Our Nib Holders use a friction fit ferrule to hold a variety of dip nibs. Pictured with a steel Kakimori dip nib.

Our pens (and blanks) are made using Alumilite Resin, which is specially formulated for turning on a lathe AND it creates a more durable finished product, unlike some other resins/acrylics which are quite a bit more fragile and prone to shattering.
